Loghaven invites emerging and established artists working in architecture, dance, interdisciplinary art, music, theater, visual art, and writing to apply. The Gainesville Fine Arts Association (GFAA) invites submissions for its 4th National Biennial Juried Exhibition, HEAT. GFAA seeks artworks that relate to the first-order threat and prime mover of all other impacts of our climate crisis, HEAT. Participants can use any medium. The Emerald Coast National, Mattie Kelly Art Center Galleries

Two Trees’ Cultural Space Subsidy Program

Art for Change Prize

Open to emerging artists around the world in the first five years of active practice. This year’s prize asks artists to creatively respond to the theme “Tomorrow’ing: Visions of a Better Future.” A total prize fund of £20,000 will be split between six winners, five to receive £2,000 and one overall winner to receive £10,000. Winning artists will exhibit their work at Saatchi Gallery in London.

Beautiful Bizarre Art Prize

The Beautiful Bizarre Art Prize is an annual non-acquisitive international art prize that celebrates diversity and excellence in the representational visual arts. It accepts work in all static mediums including Traditional Art, Digital Art, and Photography; and all styles from realism and hyperrealism, to pop surrealism and lowbrow. Mountain Writers Intensive

The Mountain Writers Intensive is a three-week residency for nine writers working in any genre (fiction, nonfiction, journalism, or poetry) on mountain narratives, environmental journalism, stories of adventure, or projects with a theme of the human relationship to landscape.

New York State Council on the Arts

NYSCA funds creative commissions to individual artists across the state. Applicants must apply through a nonprofit fiscal sponsor. NYSCA embraces the rich diversity of artmaking across New York, and applicants from all artistic practices and disciplines are encouraged to apply. Lee Ufan Arles and Guerlain Art & Environment Prize

Lee Ufan Arles and Guerlain aim to enable conceptual, semantic, and aesthetic bridges between the work of young designers and that of Lee Ufan. The winner receives a six- to eight-week support program, with a production space and accommodation in the heart of Arles. The residency is followed by a summer exhibition of the artist’s work. ‍Open to all artists, regardless of practice, with no age or degree limit, and to international artists.

Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts SHIFT Residency for Arts Workers

Each year six New York-based artists receive a shared studio space, artist honoraria and production fee, career development opportunities, group catalog production, as well as monthly peer critiques and guest studio visits. The residency period starts from January 2025, and ends in July 2025, culminating in a curated group exhibition at EFA Project Space.

AXS Film Fund

This program is for creators of color in documentary filmmaking or nonfiction new media who identify as living with a disability. While AXS prefers that a person of color living with a disability is a key contributor to the project, the fund welcomes diverse teams to apply. Each year up to five creators receive grants of up to $10,000 each to assist in finishing their projects in any stage of production.

The Keyholder Residency Program

The program offers emerging artists free 24-hour access to printmaking facilities to develop new work and foster their artistic careers. Artists from all disciplines are eligible to apply; printmaking skills are not required, but some familiarity with the medium is recommended. Alper Initiative for Washington Art

This residency allows emerging contemporary artists time and space to create new work exploring their practice. The residency culminates in a solo closing reception that is promoted across an extensive network. Proposals should have a contemporary art focus showing experimentation and career reach for the artist. The program is especially interested in projects that involve conceptual art, practice or theory, or involve the public in their creative process.

A.I.R. Studio Paducah Residencies

These residencies are open to visual artists, composers, architects, improvisational dancers, poets, fiction writers, and creative nonfiction writers. Residents are provided with a private efficiency apartment and studio space, located in the Lower Town Arts District of Paducah, Kentucky, six blocks from the Ohio River. The cost of the residency is $700 for two weeks and $1,000 per month. Admissions are made on a rolling basis.

Arts in California Parks Artist Directory

The California Department of Parks and Recreation invites artists interested in creating public art in California State and/or local parks to join the Arts in California Parks directory. The directory is a resource available to all state and local California Parks staff, as well as the general public, to be used to search for artists based on location, art medium, or other considerations, in order to explore opportunities for collaboration.

Artists working in a variety of mediums, styles, and techniques, as well as artists from diverse abilities, backgrounds, and cultures, and with a range of experiences, creative visions, aesthetics, and approaches are encouraged to join the directory.

Pollock-Krasner Foundation

The Foundation welcomes applications from visual artists who are painters, sculptors, and artists who work on paper, including printmakers. Grants are intended for a one-year period of time. The Foundation will review expenditures relating to an artist’s professional work and personal expenses, and amounts range up to $50,000. Artists must be actively exhibiting their current work in professional artistic venues, such as gallery and museum spaces.

The Studios at MASS MoCA Residency
North Adams, MA

The Studios is MASS MoCA’s artist and writers residency program situated within the museum’s factory campus and surrounded by the Berkshire Mountains. The residency runs year-round and hosts up to 10 artists at a time. Artists of any nationality can apply for stays of two or four weeks.
