DescriptionJob Summary:You are an experienced Service & Lube Technician who takes pride in the maintenance of production mining equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Essential Responsibilities:
Safely fuel and service heavy equipment as required and directed
Complete equipment inspections, report repairs required and assist in scheduling repairs
Operate fuel/service truck safely and efficiently
Assist in maintaining inventory of service kits, lubes, oils, and other supplies
Coordinate equipment service activities with production and maintenance team members
Supports Mechanics with repairs of heavy equipment
Communicate effectively and professionally with other team members
Be a leader of both safety and production for the team by ensuring compliance with all company, client, and legislated safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
Minimum one year of experience as a Lube Technician on mining equipment
Knowledge of parts and servicing of Cat, Hitachi & Komatsu equipment
Must have and maintain a driver's license
MSHA p.48 metal/nonmetal ticket is required; training and support is provided to obtain or update certificates if needed.
Work Conditions:
Ability to work overtime if required
Must be able to arrange own accommodation
