The Phoenix Suns have been linked to Marquette point guard Tyler Kolek in 2024 NBA draft speculation and rumors, with the NBA franchise reportedly very high on the distributor, with NBA writers raving about his potential fit in Phoenix.

But will Kolek still be on the board when the Phoenix Suns pick at No. 22 in the first round of the draft on June 26? That's a question that the Suns have to be asking themselves right now, if they truly are targeting the point guard in the draft as a facilitator to help Kevin Durant, Bradley Beal and Devin Booker.

Take a look at where recent 2024 NBA Draft projections have Kolek going in their NBA mock drafts to get an idea of if Kolek to the Suns could indeed become a reality during the 2024 NBA Draft.

Interestingly, several recent NBA mock drafts have Phoenix passing on the point guard even when he is still available to be picked in the projections.

College Sports Wire: Suns pick Marquette point guard Tyler Kolek at No. 22

Andy Patton writes: "There is a lot of buzz about Kolek to Phoenix, and it’s not hard to see why. The Suns need a true point guard, a selfless floor general who can distribute the ball to score first players Devin Booker, Kevin Durant, and Bradley Beal, and Kolek is the exact type to handle that role. Kolek may not have the upside of some of the younger guards still on the board, but for a win now team in Phoenix – this is the perfect fit."

The Ringer: Heat take Marquette point guard Tyler Kolek at No. 15

Kevin O'Connor writes: "Kolek’s stock appears to be on the rise as the draft approaches, with teams viewing him as a versatile guard who can provide immediate knockdown shooting and reliable playmaking. I’ve heard him connected as high as here, though perhaps if a lottery team trades down then Kolek could be a target for them too. If Miami lands him, then he would fill a clear position of need and could develop nice two-man chemistry with Bam Adebayo."
